Street painting in the village The art group of Hajme Sabz is going to hold the twentieth painting festival in outdoor of the villages of Iran with the presence of the great artists of the country in the edge of Qaemshahr’s Siahrood River from 5th to 7th of Khordad. The outlook of the festival is the performance of environmental art with the subject of Oranj fish, a unique kind of fish in Mazandaran’s freshwaters, which is in danger of extinction. Therefore, a street exhibition of children and teenagers paintings with the subject of Oranj fish and environment protection will be held during these three days. The red Oranje fish which is very big and beautiful, is in danger of extinction because of unfavorable environmental conditions, water pollution, the indiscriminate use of agricultural pesticides, industrial pollutants and unethical hunting (with poison and electricity) in Mazandaran’s rivers. Competition terms: - The participation is open to the public - Each participant can send 2 works - The paintings must be with the subject of Oranj fish and environmental protection - The paintings must be on 30*40 boards - The painting technique and tools are free - The surname and the name of the painter must be written on the back of the work The works can be delivered up to 31th of Ordibehesht to this address: Qaem Shahr, 16metri Street, before Ali Square, No. 2087, the art institution of Hajme Sabz, Finally there will be a great street exhibition of all the works and some of them will be awarded by the choice of a great jury.
